Bliss Brain and ININ Games have announced the Wonder Boy Collection for PS4 and Nintendo Switch following a retailer leak last week.
In addition to the standard version of Wonder Boy Collection, you’ll also be able to pick up a Limited Edition and Collector’s Edition for the retro bundle, which celebrates the 35th anniversary of the franchise.
Anyway, what do you get in the collection? For starters, you’ll be able to play the original 1986 Wonder Boy, which sees you helping the titular lad rescue his girlfriend, Tina, who has been captured by a nefarious King. Wonder Boy in Monster Land from 1987 follows next, and takes place years after its predecessor and sees Wonder Land destroyed by evil creatures, and it’s up to you to help protagonist Book to restore peace to the kingdom.
The third game in the collection is 1991’s Wonder Boy in Monster World, which follows hero Shion on a quest to defeat BioMeka and his army of evil critters that are looking to take over the land.
Rounding on the bundle is Monster World IV from 1994, which follows female protagonist Asha on a mission to save four spirits the have been kidnapped by a dastardly wizard.

The Wonder Boy Collection has yet to attract a release date.
