World War I Shooter Gallipoli Has Been Delayed, Now Expected To Launch In Summer 2026

Blackmill Games has announced a delay for its World War I shooter Gallipoli, which was originally set to arrive for PC and consoles on Mauy 21, 2026.

Here’s the full statement posted on the game’s X account:

In the final stages before the launch of Gallipoli, we ran into a critical issue that interferes with the game launching on PC and Consoles May 21. As we want everyone’s experience of Gallipoli to be the best it can be on day 1, and to respect the work and commitment our team put into the game these past years, we concluded that we need a bit more time to solve the issue. So unfortunately, we had to make the decision to delay the release of Gallipoli.

We will announce a new release date once the game is ready, but we expect to launch Gallipoli sometime this summer.

Gallipoli focuses on the desert warfare across the Middle Eastern Front during The Great War, where players will take on the role of a British or Ottoman soldier and slugging it out in expeditionary warfare across coastal dunes, sun-baked deserts, war-torn urban locations and more. Promising realistic gameplay that reflects the WWI period, players will handle detailed weaponry and equipment, while teaming up with a squad in multiplayer where you’ll join one of many classes, each with distinct abilities.
