WWE’s Randy Orton Has Logged Around 600 Hours In Elden Ring

Randy Orton has revealed that he’s quite the Elden Ring fan, having put around 600 hours into FromSoftware‘s sprawling fantasy-RPG.

Speaking during Cody Rhodes’ What Do You Wanna Talk About series, Orton touched on fellow wrestling superstar John Cena’s appearance in Mortal Kombat 1, where he admitted to poking fun at Rhodes for playing video games, something which he now does too.

“I don’t know if you’re still a gamer,” Orton commented. “I used to give you shit about being a gamer.”

“Yeah, that’s you now,” Rhodes hit back. “Elden Ring?”

Oh, I fucking love Elden Ring, Orto. I’ve got… I almost don’t even want to say. Now, keep in mind, this game came out… in six, seven, eight months, whatever February is, it’ll be three years since it came out. And also, let me preface this next statement with saying that I was out with spinal fusion surgery so I had a lot of time on my hands. I got, like, 600 hours on the game.

Rhodes is a well-known The Legend of Zelda fan, having battled in the ring wearing a pair of Zelda Triforce boots. However, he hasn’t yet got around to Elden Ring.

You asked me something about Elden Ring the other day, and I didn’t lie to your face, but I just kinda went ‘yeah’. You mentioned that you were playing and I was like ‘ah, I’m not’.

Elden Ring launched for PS5, PS4, PC, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One on February 2022.
