UPDATE: The demo will be available on August 21.

ORIGINAL ARTICLE: In a video interview with G4TV, Marketing Manager at LucasArts Matt Shell revealed that a demo for Star Wars: The Force Unleashed will be coming to the PlayStation Network in August.

According to Shell, the demo will be a special version of the Tie Fighter Construction Facility, where players will have access to extra force powers and a "super secret" ending to the level not found in the final version of the game. Check out the interview below.

    lol haha hyperslug,nice man-real smooth.

anyways i think this game will be pretty well done.. i allways have doubts though about games that are massive multiplatform like (psp,ps2wii,ds) cuz you have to focus on all of them insted of just one or two, wich can make it more difficult.

"the force is semi strong with this one"

Hasn't Lucasarts already stated that the high-end development portion was being led on the PS3? If so, then this will be interesting to behold.

Moff Jerjerrod: Welcome, Lord Vader. This is an unexpected pleasure. We are honored by your presence.
Darth Vader: You may dispense with the pleasantries, Commander. I am here to put you back on schedule.
Moff Jerjerrod: I assure you, Lord Vader, my men are working as fast they can.
Darth Vader: Perhaps I can find new ways to motivate them.
Moff Jerjerrod: I tell you that this Star Wars The Force Unleashed Demo will be operational as planned.
Darth Vader: [stops and holds up his finger at Jerjerrod] The Emperor does not share your optimistic appraisal of the situation.
Moff Jerjerrod: But he asks the impossible! I need to release it in public for them!
Darth Vader: Then perhaps you can tell him yourself when he arrives.
Moff Jerjerrod: [alarmed] The Emperor's coming here?
Darth Vader: That is correct, Commander, and he is most displeased with your apparent lack of progress.
Moff Jerjerrod: We shall double our efforts.
Darth Vader: I hope so, Commander, for your sake. The Emperor is not as forgiving as I am. [resumes walking]
