After acquiring the licensing for James Bond from MGM Interactive and EON Productions Ltd., Activision has finally decided to announce their first title. Well, not exactly the title, but that the game is in the works for PC, consoles and mobile handhelds.
The details have been hush hush to this point, but we do know that Treyarch, Beenox and Vicarious Visions will be the development brain trust behind the title. The game is also rumored to be based off latest Bond movie, Casino Royale, which gives some indication of potential storyline and gameplay.
There has been no official release date announced, but we reckon it'll be finished sometime between now and 2014, which is when their licensing deal expires. Hopefully.
Keep an eye on PSU for more info on Activision and the Leipzig Games Convention.
