British actor Billy Murray looks set to reprise his celebrated role as Captain Price in Activision’s upcoming Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, according to a post on his agent’s website.
Murray formed an integral part of the original Modern Warfare’s cast as the bearded Brit war veteran, and was last seen fighting for his life after sustaining serious injuries during the game’s gripping climax. However, Price’s ultimate fate was left ambiguous, opening the door for a possible return.
A seasoned actor, Murray has appeared in a plethora of top British TV shows over the past few years, and should be most recognisable to UK audiences for his role as bent copper DS Don Beech in The Bill and gangster Johnny Allen in EastEnders. More recently, he showed up in gangland flick Rise of the Foot Soldier alongside fellow Modern Warfare stable mate, Craig Fairbrass.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is due for release on November 10. Stay tuned for our full review here at PSU around the same time.
