Tate Mosesian, who had previously worked at Naughty Dog on multiple Uncharted games, has revealed on his resume (spotted by Naughty Dog World) that he’s now back at the Sony-owned developer serving as Art Director.
Mosesian’s lengthy career at Naughty Dog lasted nearly 17 years, during which time he worked on Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception, and Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End. He had originally served at Naughty Dog between May 2002 — January 2019, and then worked as Studio Art Director at Survios, before returning to Naughty Dog in March 2025. However, it’s only just come to light that Mosesian has returned to the studio.
It’s interesting that an Uncharted veteran is now back at Naughty Dog, as we’ve been hearing rumours this week that a new entry in the franchise is currently in development at the developer. According to the report, the new game will feature Nathan Drake in some capacity, but it’s unknown if he’s the main character or just making a cameo.
Naughty Dog also revealed this week that it is working on two new projects in The Last of Us franchise, although they are still in the early stages of development. The new Uncharted game is reportedly set to come after Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet, which is Naughty Dog’s next game.
