Assassin's Solid was a joke? Definitely not

We all remember that over the top Metal Gear Solid 4 video on April Fool's day featuring Altair on the battlefield, don't we? If not, click here to refresh your mind. For those of you who do remember this beautifully rendered joke, forget what you thought you knew. Assassin's Solid is no longer just another joke for the fools of April as Konami has announced today, at the MGS 4 Completion Ceremony, that Altair's costume will be an option of clothing for our beloved Snake.

This is just one collaboration of many that you can expect to see in the upcoming Metal Gear Solid title. We're not quite sure if this option will have the possibility of being toggled on/off for the die-hard fans out there who don't care, but it'll still be fun to fool around with to say the least. Does this mean we can possibly expect a Snake outfit to appear in the sequel to Assassin's Creed? Nothing has been announced or leaked as of yet, but we'd imagine it is a possibility.
One thing we do know -- Metal Gear Solid 4 is complete. Now it's just a waiting game for gamers around the world to suffer through.

Just 29 more days to go and Metal Gear Solid 4 will be here. Metal Gear Solid 4 is the only game that even matters in June. Ninja Gaiden 2 will be so lost in the Metal Gear Solid 4 hype, people probably wont even know about the game until a month later.
I hope that more 3rd party developers go exclusive with some of their games to the PS3 because they can only achieve the best possible game with the PS3.

He did say he had motivation from Assassin's Creed, the whole free run and something else.

Cool! Maybe you can unlock this costume after you beat the game once.

What is with Kojima's sudden relationship with Assassin's Creed? It is the most random thing ever..the only costume I really want to see in the game is young snake..if its available as a disguise (which judging by the latest trailers..it is) I'm playing with it on the whole game !!

bada$smofo? I dunno, seems too artsy for that but artsy in a good way. he's just trying to look professional in photos... hmm professional is another name for assassin. Maybe you;re right!
I doubt Snake witn be an AC2 unless Ubisoft is trying to get him to take over development of the second title, which I doubt But maybe he's helping with the scenerio.

Assassin's Creed 2 would have to be set in a more modern time to use Solid Snake in it.
