Bayonetta hitting stores in Fall 2009

SEGA’s stylish action romp Bayonetta has been given a slightly more concrete release date courtesy of Sony’s U.S. and European game profile pages.
Up until now the developers have remained decidedly tight lipped in regards to when gamers can get their hands on the Devil May Cry-esque outing, with SEGA only committing to a vague ‘2009’ launch date.
However, according to SCEA’s website, Bayonetta will be hitting North American territories in fall 2009, with Sony Europe going one step further, listing the game down for release in October.
Better prepare yourself, though – according to designer Hideki Kamiya, the game will prove “sadistically hard.”
