Best of GC announced

The Leipzig Games Convention ‘Best of Show’ awards have been unveiled today, with Pro Evolution Soccer 8 claiming awards on two of Sony's consoles. The Konami title won Best PS2 and Best PS3 Game.
PlayStation Portable’s most acclaimed offering this year came in the form of the forthcoming God of War: Chains of Olympus.
The awards show itself is available to any title not published at the time of the event, which ran through much of last week. Sony’s offerings included a number of titles spanning all three of its systems, including Lair (PS3), Time Crisis 4 (PS3), Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction (PS3), Syphon Filter: Logans Shadow (PSP), ATV 4 (PS2) and Pursuit Force: Extreme Justice (PS2, PSP)

I agree, out of that list I am surprised that the winner PES 2008. Either the judges are supper football fans, or we should be worried about the other games mentioned, or PES 2008 is the best football game of all time!!!!! Which is what I am hoping for, since it beat lair and R&C.

I agree - its absolutely depressing that a football game was the best they could scrape together for PS2 & PS3. I was under the belief that some big stuff was going to get revealed by Sony at this show. Something earth shattering....I got sucked in once again into believing the hype. Whats going on with the rumble? Come on give us something new.
