BioWare: testing fix for Dragon Age: Origins PS3 crashing issues

If you are a fan of BioWare’s Dragon Age: Origins, you may be happy to learn that we are getting closer to a fix for the problems many have faced since firmware 3.3 went live. An official posting on the BioWare forums indicates that the team is working on the problems some are having with their PS3’s crashing while playing Dragon Age.

We still don’t have a definitive release date, but it is nice to hear there is a workaround to allow Dragon Age to play better with firmware 3.3. The team is currently testing code changes. If the testing proves positive, the information will be sent to EA’s publisher side certificate testing, then off to Sony for further testing, according to the forum post.

It sound like we have a while to wait for a fix, but it’s good to hear the problem hasn’t gone unnoticed.
