With its newly released title performing well in retail stores, Capcom is taking Monster Hunter Freedom 2 to the next level. The developer is sponsoring a hunting expedition to the South American country of Guyana as part of a publicity campaign for the new Monster Hunter in the U.K.. The prey are not Velocidromes, but a Bigfoot-type creature called the di-di and a 40ft anaconda.
The expedition begins this November and will be headed by the Centre for Fortean Zoology (CFZ). The CFZ's area of expertise includes mythical beasts like the El Chupacabra from Mexico. The CFZ is also accepting people on their expedition who are non-members, so grab your swords and armor and head to you local Hunting Lodge for your chance to hunt monsters for real.
