D3Publisher has announced that Dark Sector, for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, will be released across Europe on January 22nd 2008.
The North American release date has yet to be revealed.
For those of you who don't know, Dark Sector is a third-person shooter where players assume the role of Hayden Tenno, the protagonist who gains the ability to morph into dramatically different combat forms.
The game is primarily set in a future Soviet-bloc and aims to teach a lesson to players about a world in which bio-weapons are a reality, all forced upon an unsuspecting populace.
Dark Sector was the very first "next generation" title to be unveiled. It was announced as a PS3 title back in April 2004.
