Capcom has finally slapped a name on Dead Rising 2’s zombie slaying protagonist. According to the latest issue of Famitsu, the unlucky shopper taking over from the original game’s Frank West is a chap named Chuck Greene.
The publication goes on to confirm that the sequel will utilize the same 72 hour formula applied in the first game, and, as previously confirmed, will be handheld by Vancouver-based studio Blue Castle Games.
Expect nothing short of breath-taking number of rotting corpses on screen though, with the company boasting, “Dead Rising 2 deal[s] with the rendering of the greatest number of characters ever seen in a video game… Everything else needed to be subordinated to this requirement."
Keep those eyes peeled for more info on Dead Rising 2 at Capcom’s annual Captivate event this week.
