Dead Space demo due out this week

Haven’t quite decided whether or not Electronic Arts’ Dead Space is for you? Well, fortunately you’re in luck – the publisher announced today that it will be depositing a free demo of the survival horror outing on PlayStation Network and Xbox LIVE Arcade this week.
Those of you residing in North America will be able to download the demo for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 tomorrow, while PAL gamers will have to wait until Thursday.
Dead Space combines sumptuous visuals with an innovative (and decidedly gory) dismemberment system, allowing players to dispatch the game’s collection of various nasties – known as Necromorphs – literally limb by limb as you explore the deserted halls of a lost space vessel.

i've watched the little episodes they released and i think it will be sweet. i'm excited to try it though. hopefully it will be worth buying

It's a brilliant game and pretty lengthy too. I took my time on the first playthrough and finished it in 17-ish hours but if you want to unlock all trophies it will take around 3 playthroughs. This for me is definately worthy of being amongst the games of this year!

I don't comment on these forums often, but I read them every day, and this game is worth it. At first it blew past me, it looked liked any other game out there. But it's not. this ones good. Really good...

If you guys/gals pass on this game just because it is put out by EA... you are making a big mistake. I will be the first to admit that EA has tried to royally screw the PS3 audience many times over with shoddy ports; however, they have put out a masterpiece of a game this time. I was wary at first also; however, after playing it the first time I was hooked. The platinum trophy was a blast to get.
