A trio of demos for KOEI games are lined up to hit a European Online Store near you, including the much anticipated Dynasty Warriors: Gundam Demo.

Among the chance to pilot legendary Mobile Suits are demos for Fatal Inertia and Bladestorm: The Hundred Years War, with the Fatal Inertia demo being released tomorrow, 14th August.

Fatal Inertia is a futuristic racer along the same lines as F-Zero and Wipeout, and, like Wipeout, features the use of weapons. Said weapons can be used to destroy scenery, which in turn falls onto the track and hampers the progress of both friend and foe.

Bladestorm: The Hundred Years War is based on the Hundred Years War (fancy that) between England and France in the 14th and 15th Century, and plays much like a Dynasty Warriors game would. But in this case, instead of being a one man wrecking crew, you take along squads of men to do your bidding. You’re also playing as a mercenary commander, so you can choose whoever and whatever you want to fight with anytime.

Finally, Dynasty Warriors: Gundam gives you the chance to play through the ‘Universal Century’ Universe of the Gundam franchise in Dynasty Warriors style. Which is fitting, as the Anime tends to play out as One vs Many. As well as being able to cry ‘Ikimasu!’ as Amuro Rei, players get the chance to play as Gundams from alternate Universes. Albeit playing in the ‘Original’ Gundam story line.

In the demo, you will fight as Heero Yuuy in Wing Gundam Zero, the main protagonist from Mobile Suit Gundam Wing, who has been transported to the UC timeline for some nefarious reason.

The Bladestorm demo will be released at the beginning of October, with Gundam following up shortly thereafter. Fatal Inertia will be released on 14th September, and Bladestorm and Gundam are currently coming out at the beginning of November.

Stay tuned.
