God of War III demo now available for selected users in Europe

European PlayStation 3 owners may want to check their inboxes this weekend, as Sony has begun distributing God of War III demo code vouchers to a selected number of users who previously signed up for various SCEE promotional materials.
Those of you who have been selected in the promotion and receive the email will be able to download a demo of the hotly anticipated PS3 exclusive instantly from the PlayStation Store, so be sure to pop over to your inbox and see if you’ve been successful. The email reads as follows:
"Be one of the first to revel in the rush of relentless destruction on PlayStation®3
As a valued PlayStation®Network user, you’ve been rewarded with a voucher code to download an exclusive God of War® III demo. This is your chance to experience a glimpse of the limitless power of the gods.”

It is actually pretty awesome! I remember everyone at E3 giving it high praise saying the graphics were amazing "like a painting", yeah the visuals of Kratos and the blood are pretty impressive but a lot of the textures are a bit poor! I know this is the E3 09 demo and is an early representation of the game, just hope they buff up their textures! Its not a big deal though as the game kicks a**!
One thing that does annoy me though is the fading of dead enemies and blood! This happens in a lot of games, and it always irritates me! It would add to the experience so much more if when you killed a hundred enemies, there were a hundred corpses on the floor! Instead they fade away as soon as they are dead, then once you're finished the big battle area is spotless! I'd feel more of a bad a** if i could see what i had just done! -
