Haze no longer such, release date announced

It seems every time you read an article with Haze in it, you're preparing yourself for another let down and delay announcement. This time is completely different as Ubisoft has finally given a concrete release date for this much anticipated title.
You can expect the title to release this May, a mere 3 months away. Ubisoft has stated that the game will also release with an "M" rating. We understand that a specific date has not been given, however, knowing it's coming in May after all of the speculation of delays is more than adequate for now. Sorry Ubi. one month earlier and I woulda got it. MGS comes out in june, sooooo. :) Sorry.
OH, and I thought THIS was going to be the news posting that said it wasn't going to be exclusive. I guess I gotta wait that 6 months and see when it does =P C'mon.. we all know this ins't an "exclusive for good" ps3 title.

For some reason I'm thinking this game is going to bomb. Too many FPS on the market right now. There needs to be other genres of games coming.

I think the guys at Free Radical have set up their game for failure with all the delays. This game would have been a success if it woulda came out last December and averaged an 8 in the reviews department. Now it MUST get a 9.0 and up or a REALLY solid 8.5 to not be a total failure. Free Radical is awesome but with all the FPS competition I really think they better have something special on their hands.

HAZE can kiss my ass for now.....the only way I will be buying a copy of this game is if it can somehow (by some divine power) be better than COD4.....and that my friends is not an easy thing to do just yet. Heck...I am more excited about R6V2, than this.

I just watched a gameplay video, an it looks like it is going to be an amazing game. Just from watching it, it looks like its going to have kick a$s multiplayer. And i really hope it does, i love fast paced online shooters, ala Halo. But this looks better than Halo, i think

It's about time I am so glad that Haze is finally coming out I just want to SCREAM. It took about 6 additional months for Ubisoft to wrap up game development and that really sucks, but I would rather have a complete game than a half-a** game. Developing for the PS3 is no easy task and Ubisoft is doing what more 3rd party PS3 game developers should do, they should push the game back if it's not ready instead of releasing the game anyways full of bugs.
The PS3 game delays really has hurt the PS3, I mean REALLY hurt the PS3, but 2008 looks very promising. This is the year that Sony finally shuts up the people that say the PS3 has no good games.

31 days to pick from in May...Thanks Ubi. Too bad all your delays pushed it far down my list. I'll probably have to get it in August to prepare for the Killzone/Resistance fragfest in the fall.

To all you Haze haters, I wish you would stfu. Alot of people have been waiting for a solid release date and now we have it. I liked the new video to. I can't stand Ubi, but this one is already pre-ordered and paid for. To whoever said RSV2 is better you fing insane. I can't stand ubi and what they have done to Rainbow Six series.
