Killzone.com has officially joined forces with the PlayStation Network. According to their website, they're expecting everyone to link their profiles with their PSN accounts as well. With the recent confirmation of the Official PlayStation Forums profiles being linked with their PSN accounts due to Home possibly having a public beta released sometime this month, it only adds to the speculation that perhaps something is coming shortly for Killzone as well.
Play.com's Live event will showcase this Saturday and Sunday and is expected to display a Killzone 2 trailer. There is still no confirmation if the trailer will be new or recycled from the previously released trailers already shown. With Sony attending the event, things could be interesting, especially with their lack of display at the Game Developer's Conferece late last month.
The rumor floating around the internet seems to lead towards a possible Killzone 2 beta of some sorts. Obviously with news pertaining to the title being so limited, this rumor is highly unlikely. Regardless, one thing is for sure, Sony can't be matched with the hype and speculation it creates with its first party titles.
We'll keep you updated if any more reasoning is given for this linkage between the two.

Well, it's about damn time something new about Killzone 2 has been released. I was getting worried that it might get pushed into 09' or something. There's more info about Resistance 2, but very little is known about Killzone 2... I guess the developers want to keep everything under wraps for a while, but the suspense is killing me.

Well Guerilla said it would be having a beta sometime but I hardly doubt it will be before the summer.

what exactly would linking a Killzone 2 account to a PSN ID do? Aren't all accounts for all online games pretty much linked to your PSN ID anyway? I'm confused.
