Kojima Productions talks MGS4 Trophies

Kojima Productions has moved to reassure punters still clinging on to the hope of seeing Trophy support in Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots that the firm is taking all your comments on board – it just hasn’t got anything to announce on the matter right now.
Speaking in a recent podcast, Konami's Sean Eyestone commented, “Just to address one issue that we’ve been getting a lot of comments about. And this is, of course, about trophies.”
“I just wanna tell everybody out there right now that your voices are being heard and that we’re not ignoring you. We hear everything that you are saying. It’s just that we can’t say anything just yet.”
So, those of you clamouring for Trophies needn’t worry – Konami is listening to your woes. However, Eyestone went on to say that the firm doesn’t currently have anything to announce on the subject just yet, and requested fans remain patient for the time being.
“But as soon as we have something to say, we will announce it. So, if we can just ask everyone to just be patient, we will give you an answer. But right now we can’t say anything. So we just ask for everyone’s understanding with that and just ask for everybody to remain patient and we’ll let you know,” he added.

Ugh.. I don't want to start Big Boss Extreme if trophies come out like a month later or something.
Hope they announce something soon.

As I said earlier in one thread:
Considering that since MGS was launched on PSX, Konami has released updated versions of every major episode in the series:
Metal Gear Solid: Integral
Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance
Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence
Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops Plus
So my guess is that we will see something similar happen to MGS4 and it will probably be released with trophies! -

Just put them in, it is totally the wisest step. MGS4 WAS collecting dust next to my Lucas Arts STARWARS FORCE UNLEASHED; now it is just MGS4 collecting dust, imagine all that multi[player loss too. A tip of the hat to LUCAS, here is hoping to tip my hat at you folks.,

I am guessing we'll have trophies for beating the game, trophies for online, and trophies for beating the game without being seen or killing anyone. I haven't played MGS4 after buying it earlier this year again for the second time but if trophies come out I'll give it another go.

I have stopped beating this game over and over with the hope of a trophy release. I been throuygh it I don't know how many times, but I would like something to show for it. At least Konami is not ignoring people like most companies, looking at you EA, Valve, and Activision.

It already has in-game unlockables, so Trophies aren't necessary.

39... that makes no sense. The fact that it HAS in game unlockables is why it should be EASY to make trophies. And in-game unlockables are not the same as trophies. Do you even understand the concept of why trophies are important to people?

I want trophies for this title, and for devil may cry 4, resistance:fall of man and guitar hero world tour, in fact, all ps3 games without trophy support must be included, is my opinion cuz trophies is pretty much wht motivates us to play the game, who agrees?
