Anyone remember the PS3 Website (pre PS3 release), where you had to click on strange letters to spell words so you can access images and videos of Lair and other (supposed) launch titles?

 I would love it t be MGS 5.  Id wouldn't mind a remake of any of the old games, but obviously with PS3 graphics.   I hope it isnt MGS 4 ported to 360,

No more MGS! If they are going to do something in the MGS universe then I hope it is something like that rumor about there being DLC (as well as a trophy patch!) with a couple of chapters filling in what Raiden was oing for most of MGS4.  How he met big Mumma and such like.

Otherwise a new IP would be nice to see.

Doesn't in the begining of act 4 when Snake heads into Shadow Moses Raiden starts talking about his life or something

I was thinking about this the other day when the teaser site just launched, and then I saw it yesterday through n4g on a site called GOONL!NE GAMES.  They had some other interesting points to.

I can't fathom why some people would not want more metal gear.  The only way I don't want it to happen is if it is hacked up just to be playable on xbox.  MGR: METAL GEAR RAIDEN!!!!  Has a nice ring to it.

Well as Raiden is the god of lightning the whole cloudy storm thing works. Hopfully if it is MGS5 as everything hints, it will be based on the rescue of sunny from the patriots.

MGS4 was the conclusion, Kojima ended it that way so he could move on to other things.

I would like to see anything, but I would put my money on a Metal Gear Raiden.  Does anyone notice the turbulent storm growing. Raiden is the thuderstorm.  Someone find the correct quotes about Raiden from MGS2 and MGS4 when they talk about his name and it's tie to thunder and lightning.

Personally, I would like Metal Gear to be inherited by Liquid Snake.  A Metal Gear Liquid that follows Liquid when he was a soldier for the British SAS. That would be epic. Showing how he went from British National to Global Terrorist.

The text of the 'S' or '5' is in the same font of MGS4... it probably is MGS5 Kojima said he wouldn't stop making MGS games aslong as the fans asked for it when he got that 'lifetime achievement award for video games'... or did I just make that up? whatever PEACE OUT!!!

 I really think its going to be a metal gear starring raiden. Raiden in Japanese means thunder and lightning, which is clearly present in the new update, Metal Gear Raiden 5?

Solid would no longer be in the title, solid is only in the title because of solid snake as the main character. Without snake (or without him being the focus) the series would be called either plain metal gear, or metal gear raiden.

according to kotaku this website will be doing 5 series of countdowns and the last countdown will end on June 1st which is the day of the MS press conference in E3(sony's is june 2nd)........I'm guessing if this is 100% true this could mean a MGS4 for the 360 if not maybe even MGS5 ps360.....I seriously hope this isnt true cause theres no need for mgs5 to be anywhere but the ps3 lets have our fingers crossed

 I want more MGS. I just beat MGS 4 last night (have had it since launch but always lost interest half way through) and I want more more more.  Also, I kinda got my tears jerked at the end. What a powerful and awesome game.  Poor snake. :(

If the new MG game was on the 360, I couldn't blame Konami.  How can you ask them to NOT to take money?  If it's loyalty you claim, they have been loyal with MGS4.  A Raiden game (that continues his story) or a remake of MG would be perfect as it doesn't require a 360 owner to have played the rest of the series.  What's the problem?

I remember Kojima saying he would not make metal gear games multi plat until tech improved on the other cosole.  I am looking at you xbox.  He wouldn't butcher it just to make money.  He is too much of a perfectionist, and loves the metal gear story too much to do that.  If he does I will be sorely dissappointed.
