A recent news letter issued by Sony has revealed some interesting upcoming PSP titles such as NBA 09 and SOCOM U.S. Navy SEALs: Tactical Strike and a patch for SOCOM U.S. Navy SEALs: FireTeam Bravo 2.
Now while all of that might be interesting, the real meat comes in what appears to be a new Metal Gear Solid game for the PSP; Metal Gear Solid Portable Ops: Infinite War, listed in the “Coming Soon” portion of the Sony newsletter. Where did this title come from? Could Infinite War be the new name for the MGS Portable Ops+, which is set to hit the US market November 13?

Portable Ops+ is an expansion of the original Portable Ops title that places heavy emphasis on multiplayer. Konami also added a new single player mode to the game called interesting enough….Infinity Mission.
So, could Infinite War just be the new name of Portable Ops+? Or is Sony sneaking something new upon us that we just do not know of as of yet?
Stay tuned, as we will update this article with more information as it becomes available.

Metal Gear Solod: Portable Ops Trailer
more than likely its a new name for PO+, it makes sense since its mostly based on multiplayer and most people have wars for an infinite amount of time : / ??????
and if it was a new game, they would of announced it already, so again its more than likely its a new name for PO+
yes, Infinite War is the new name for portable ops plus as it states on the metal gear solid unofficial site.
it would be sweet if its a new portable ops game.
It is the single player campain ind MGS:PO+. Its on Kojima's site.
heck yea, Portable Ops killed the DS in sales, now we're getting Infinite War. awesome!
Portable Ops: Subsistance?
Ugh, this better cost 20 bucks because there's no way I'm paying full price for another Half-sequel.
there are roumers that mgs portable ops 2 is in the making and should be out sumtime next year.
