NHL 08 is the greatest sports game ever created.  Running at 60 fps just made my day.

Peter Moore is a d!ck.. imo he DID sabotage the Madden game, and will probebly do so in the future.. I mean why have someone that hates Sony head of THE biggest gaming company (sports devision) in the world? Make sense anyone?

the issues won't be rectified unless you can update or re-release madden at 60 fps, and we all know that won't happen.at least they're making an effort now.

played the live demo and it still sucks. i'll stay with 2K

I think it will be announced that NHL 08 is going to be delayed by end of day.

Even if NHL 08 is delayed I will be happy to see it at 60fps. I still think it will look better on 360 but next year will start a whole new story for PS3 and EA.

I would much rather them be the same game and allow for cross-platform online play.

 

One of my friends has played madden on all 3 systems: Wii, 360 and PS3, he told me he thought the ps3 version was the best, so I went and picked it up, over 07 it is a HUGE improvement, the games don't take 55 minutes cuz of the damn cut scenes that you can't 'X' out of, and it's not perfectly smooth, but there were MANY improvements, I know the 60 fps would have been nice, but next year everything will be fine. And at first I was real worried about this Moore dude going to EA. Damn Microsoft trying to take everything over. Anyway only time will tell, all I play now is Warhawk anwyay! :-)

I personally could care less about these National Sports League games since I'm not into them anyways.  All I care about is the next Need For Speed game due out at the end of next month.  If that games isn't all that I hope for in the next NFS,... then I'm done with EA... completely!  Peter Moore aside, EA as a whole needs to shape up their business and their games because they are headed the wrong way on a one way street towards the edge of a cliff at the rate they're going.  I hope they turn it around and soon.

has anyone played nba live 08, the game is beautiful. finally a bball game that actually plays like real basketball. the games smooth all the way round. its a beauty. the first bball game i will buy since nba jam.

The last basketball game I took seriously was NBA Showtime on NBC for the Dreamcast.......that was the best!!
