PSN/XBL getting Civilization Revolution demo this week

2K Games has confirmed that it will be releasing a demo of Sid Meier’s Civilization Revolution on PlayStation Network and Xbox Live this week.
Gamespot reports that the demo will be available on PSN in North America this Thursday, with a European release following at a later date. The Xbox 360 version, however, will be available to download in all major territories.
Weighing in at 1.08GB, the demo allows players to control either Caesar or Cleopatra and face off against the CPU or against human opponents online.
The full game is scheduled to hit European territories on June 13, with a US release due out in early July.

Great news! Won't be able to get the full game because I spent my cash on a new HDTV. Why is the full game being released in Europe in June, and US in July?

@gradyj08, I think we [Europeans] get it earlier because the developer and / or publisher are situated in Europe.

Why do NA get the demo first can i ask? Considering it is comnig out in Europe first? Yeah fair enough it has to pass ratings etc, but come on they should do it earlier in europe if its coming out there first!

hmm, looks good, not played any of the civilization games, my fav RTS game is Command and Conquer franchise
Emo-Mercenary, thts not the whole reason they get it earlier, the main reason that europe gets most great games that are developed over seas like FFVII-CRISIS CORE[woohoo!^^] much later is because they have to translate the games for like 5 diffrent countries, and thier arnt many translators in the european industry, suprisingly

@Snowspader You must be referring to the US spelling because in the rest of the world the proper English would be "civilization" and " aluminum". Anyway, looking forward to seeing how this plays on a console.
