Samsung: Blu-ray will last five yearsWe had a bit of a downtime stretch today guys and we apologize. The site has been experiencing a lot of slow down as of late as we are sure most of you have experienced. Today we were trying to do a quick fix in order to correct that issue and we hit a small snag. This caused an error which forced everything down for a short period of time.
We restored the site but unfortunately, the forums and the front page have also been set back several hours, which means forum members may have experienced a loss of posts and threads. We're sorry for the inconvenience and feel free to post the topics back up for discussion. On top of this, some of the comments you may have left on some articles are no longer posted either. Feel free to resubmit those as well if you so choose.
Once again, we apologize for the downtime and the small snag. It is possible there will be some further downtime whislt we perform additional maintenance and optimization work. However this should not be for very long and we hope that this work will improve the site load speed significantly.

p.s. does anyone know what type of browser PS3 uses? I was trying to access cnbc.com today and it didn't work. Cheers!

I was really noticing the slowdown when I'd try to access 4 or 5 articles at a time in different tabs. Glad it got fixed.

Well, I'm glad it's back and all, but I really wish a lot of the posts were back also as there were some very informative and funny posts that are lost to us forever.

I was wondering if it was only me who was having trouble loading up pages lately. Don't sweat it guys, I was too busy playing the last hours of Crisis Core and hadn't posted anything. I am very depressed though, it's been hard really digging a character who is awaiting a terrible fate. I don't ever want it to end.
I was wondering what was going on with the website. It's good to see that everything is back up and running. I check PSU.com literally every couple of hours and it was a shock to see it not up.
