After watching the new trailer of Prototype, which is 100% pure gameplay, we were left with very little to say. It was almost like watching all of the best things about the greatest games released over the last year within one title. If skateboarding on an infected body for 50-60 feet doesn't do it for you, maybe running around like a parkour pro will. We've included the trailer below for you to check out, so make sure you leave your impressions afterwards. Grand Theft Auto IV may have an unlikely competitor this year for Game of the Year.

The only reaction form this trailers is W.T.F.! Interesting game. I wanna know about it. But I´m not gonna get too hype by this. If u take that guy out and put a green guy there named Hulk, well... lets say Hulks game look´s good watching but feel bad while playing.

meh...looks ok. A little too much going on though...wonder if it'll run at 60frames...hmmm plus the city graphics dont look all that great...but the finished product may be good.

This game looks sorry to me. Just a bunch of running around running and gunning killing people... whatever, what a waste of development time. The graphics are pitiful and look like a PS2 graphics, and according to a recent article, Prototype has been moved to 2009 anyways.
A game like Prototype wouldn't even stand a chance against GTA4 for Game of the Year. The only other game coming out this year that stands a chance against GTA4 for Game of the Year is MGS4 and that's it.

sweet. Id definately buy this over GTA.
I personally could care less for GTA, im pretty sure i have 3 GTA's almost identical to the new one already. Theres not enough new in GTA IV for me to give them my money.

Looking real good. The problem is, I see this game being modified or banned here in Australia because apparently according to the media and politicians, games are only for 8 year olds.

i get this game confuze with the other one coming out by Sony INFAMOUS. Their both free roam like GTA. And both have a character with powers etc... looks great

@AclayPS3: You forget Gears of War 2. Just because Prototype isn't a franchise doesn't mean it can't be Game of the Year. LBP could get GotY for innovation. Just look at Bioshock.

Every time I see a new trailer for this game, it jumps up 5 spots on my list of games to get. I can't wait to see what these guys bring out.
