Realtime Worlds still shy on APB for PS3

Realtime Worlds has said that it remains undecided as to whether or not the company’s forthcoming Massively Multiplayer Online (MMO) title, APB, will be heading to the PlayStation 3.

Speaking with Gamesindustry.biz, Studio Manager Colin MacDonald commented, "The situation is that yes, all the consoles are an option for us, and we'll be looking at them, but there's nothing decided, nothing to report at the moment I'm afraid.”

"Yes, we'll be looking seriously at it, but that doesn't mean it's going ahead, and it doesn't mean it's not going ahead," he added.

MacDonalds comments were prompted when an article published in The Scotsman earlier today claimed that the title would be available for the PS3, in addition to Xbox 360 and PC.

    I am tired of companies that are too lazy to go through and code a game on the PS3, or that just do a horrible job so they can say that they did it. Wasn't Sony supposed to be working on a couple MMO games for the PS3 anyway? We'll just have to wait and see what happens.

    Awwwww i want APB it looks really good but then again I won't be disapointed if it doesn't come out on ps3 coz we still got gta iv's multiplayer which is looking pretty dam good

    i hope it comes to the PS3, its from David Jones' company, the original creator of the GTA series (at least thats what i believe to be true). Looks cool. if it doenst come out for PS3 then i'm not too bummed cuz it'll come out for PC for sure.

    I've never heard of this, but I really don't care. Just give me some Killzone 2, Resistance 2, God of War 3, and Wardevil, and I'll be just fine. Plus, MMO's aren't my thing anyways. The Xbox 360 and PC can have this crap.

    I don't care about MMOs either. Sony is working on 'The Agency' - which to me looks really boring. I know MMOs don't have the best graphics, but the style they decided to use just isn't my thing. Hopefully it will be good.

    Realtime worlds is 5 mins form my front door and im know several testers for this game. The more I hear about it the more i want it on ps3. Fun fact: my 3d tutor was in the orginal gta team....dundee is a very interconneced city, i recommend the computer arts course for anyone in the uk who wants to get into games industry through art, we got connections directly with games companies, and much more...

    if it doesnt come out for the ps3 were boycotting Realtime Worlds for all future games if they make them for the ps3!

    Moneysoft is going to dish out a ton money to make it exclusive to the 360, so there is no need to get hyped about this game.

    I hope this does come to the PS3.. dont want to have to get the 360 version over my favourite console.. its certainly a cool idea though and if push comes to shove i'll have to.
