Rock Band junkies, listen closely, for your foreseeable Thursday night has just been unveiled. The upcoming Rock Band DLC contains one thematic three-pack and a single by Maxïmo Park. The songs are as follows:

-MTV2 Pack ($2.99):
o Moving to Seattle, by The Material ($0.99)
o A Clean Shot, by The Myriad ($0.99)
o Bullets & Guns, by Them Terribles ($0.99)

-Girls Who Play Guitars, by Maxïmo Park ($0.99)

These tracks will be released with the rest of the weekly PlayStation Store update on June 12. I have to say though, as solid a game as Rock Band is, these four metal songs will only keep your gears grinding for so long before something else on June 12 snags your attention. Wonder what that could be...

By the way, if those aren't actually metal songs, I apologize. I just thought it was clever.

The recent releases on Rock Band have been a little on the meh side.

I really wish MTV and Activision would come to some agreement and release a patch to allow the instruments to work on both games.

I hope MGS4 isn't as disappointing and overhyped as GTA4.

    Ok, I'm rambling incoherently. Sorry

I might actually consider getting this game f the DLC gets better.  So far I haven't seen anything to make me pay $170.

Maximo Park isn't worthy of being metal lol. A shame cause who's going to be interested. Why not add Dimmu Borgir or just a couple of songs with great guitars and drums
