What if God made you a little glowing dot, and the music in your head had nowhere to go but out? That's the question Sony Santa Monica attempts to answer with the PSP version of PSN hit Everyday Shooter. Below you can watch the very first trailer.

The port appears to be much the same stylish blend of twitch-shooting and high concept design that hit North American PlayStation 3s last year. Much as in Geometry Wars and any number of 2D shooters, you must shoot your way around a screen thronged with weird abstract hostiles.

Unlike those of Geometry Wars, each foe destroyed generates a musical note or effect such as a guitar riff. The soundtrack is thus part-preset, part-procedurally-generated, and as in Sony Japan's superlative Patapon it's possible to tell how well you're doing simply by listening.

Release dates for the PSP version have yet to be announced.
