Sony reveals new PS3 commercial

Sony has unleashed a fresh TV commercial highlighting the multimedia capabilities of its swanky new PS3 Slim console.
Check out the video below, which follows in the footsteps of the corporation’s more humours attempts at marketing over the past few months. Appropriately enough, the ad comes just in time for Thanksgiving next week - what better time to invest in a PS3 if you haven't already been tempted?

a few months ago here in NA i saw nothing but 360 commercials all day everyday but ps3 has took over!!!! i see about 10 ps3 commercials a day now lol but i think the kevin butler guy is keeping these commercials fresh and funny

WITH A STICK! I kind of wish instead of spending all that money on those great commercials...THEY'D FIX MY PS3 FOR FREE INSTEAD OF MAKING ME PAY $150 FOR IT!!! uhhhhhhh.

when it comes to ps3 i think it should just get to the point, and just showcase what everyone out there without a ps3 is missing. the last few seconds of the commercial without the skit is good enough. PS3 It does everything!

The Ad is crap wow it plays blu-ray they could do much better, ps3 has so much more stuff to it and people are clueless to them features.

That's a good commercial. And a sweet grandma! Only one problem: not even a half blind grandmother would pay any attention to Revenge of the Fallen!

I like these commericals especially this latest one but i think Sony should take its advertising more serious instead of joking around. Like showcase that PSN is free unlike XBL where you have pay $50 a year or $8 a month to pay online. Show that you can download movies, games, PS1/PSP games, themes, wallpapers, etc. Even the ability to transfer that content to a PSP.

@7 That's silly, but one can wish :) You may want to try fixing it yourself. I read some had success by cleaning the old stuff off with alcohol(90 percent or higher is best) and then replacing it with a good thermal compond(PM me if you need to know what those are). If it works, you have a fixed(cheap-5 bucks or so), cooler running, quieter console :)

these commercials are great, they're all memorable which is what they need to get their point across. The public is dumb and they wont remember if you tell them everything the system can do at once. you give them several commercial seperately and they'll remember each one.

@35 yea i can't watch videos on my PS3 browser either. i think it did start happening since FW 3.10. anyone else having the same problem?

Man Sony have came a long way since the crying baby commercials. I can't stop watching it, It's the funniest once I seen yet. There's alot of gaming commercials but I like to always see the funny ones. That one just about as funny as Crash calling Mario out in front of the Nintendo building. Kudos Sony.
