Namco Bandai seems to understand complaints about the problems with the online experience in Tekken 6, as the company sent out an email briefly announcing a forthcoming downloadable update. Our recent review of Tekken 6 pointed out the difficulties we, like many other gamers, had with the online components of Tekken 6.
This update is separate from the online co-op Scenario Campaign mode update scheduled for release this winter. We don’t have any other details about the update, other than it “will be available as soon as it has passed rigorous testing procedures.”
Namco Bandai assures us we’ll hear more details about the content of the update and its release shortly.

I got tekken 6 since Ive always liked it since PS1 i was expecting pretty much the same stuff but this game is heaps better. I like the new mode the put in to unlock characters then go fight at the arena
Ive played a couple online matches, since I live in NZ i knew i'd be worse off them most. Its pretty annoying playing online sometimes. othertimes its just like playing in super slow motion and kinda makes the game funny cause u see whos going to land the punch first

Only took them a bazillion years to make this turd, and they still couldn't release a complete game? Shouldn't they have done some of their rigorous testing before release?

The biggest mistake they made was going multi-plat. F*** you Namco.

thank god now I can really get into the game when this patch is released, all the matches I have played online are really laggy. Whereas all Soul Caliber matches I have played run perfectly; which begs the questtion why didn't they use the same netcode?

T6 is often about as laggy as SCIV. Its just tekken is overall i much harder game to play abd ure gonna be inputting buttons a lot quicker to do juggles, throw breaking on reaction as opposed to SCIV where the combo's were easy and we had buffering.
Its probably the same at times but it just seems laggier because of this. Anyway can't w8 for this. I h8 the fact its impossible to get Bobs u/f+1+2, 1 bound ender online cos of the dam lag. Annoying having to simplyify my juggles and get less dmg. Also annoying that when i try backdashing trying to get a whiff or CH hunting i always lose online when im playing how im ment to play. A random person just abuses the same gay string witha a low in and beats me....

how disappointing! every time i get one of those old timers from ps one and two, there`s always something that disrupts the experience.Nevertheless it`s a great game with awesome graphics and physics,i hope the patch will fix the problem completely instead of decreasing it

Apart from the Online Glitch it's Still a Great Fighter. TEKKEN is still the Conqueror of all IMO & the Online Glitch is prob not a bad thing more practice time (Were all a bit rusty) it's a while since ive played Tekken5. Before we know it the Online Glitch will be forgotten about & we'll be kicking the S**T out of one another.
