There are even more juicy rumors regarding the existence of the alleged PS3 Slim. Joystiq Japan and Engadget Chinese are reporting that two Taiwanese manufacturing companies have been contracted to build Sony’s new slim version of the PlayStation 3.
Taiwanese groups Foxconn and Pegatron will split the orders, which are expected to start shipping in early July to manage the increase in summer demand, according to UDN.com.
We cannot confirm this news, but given past rumors, including alleged leaked photos, it looks like Sony’s PS3 Slim could go the way of its PSP Go.
