BIA: Hell's Highway 'Realism' trailerWith retailers nationwide selling the DualShock 3 for the suggested retail price of $54.99, it came as a surprise to watch Wal-Mart go against the grain and release the controller for the cellar price of $49.88 USD. On top of this low price also comes the low shipping cost of just .97-cents.
Currently this offer is only available to online shoppers and is not available in-store. There is no indication to whether or not the deal will make its way into their nationwide stores, but it wouldn't surprise us if it didn't. As many of you may recall, Amazon.com had sold the DualShock 3 as a preorder for $49.99 USD plus free shipping, but they didn't continue the trend after the item was released.
The release of the DS3 will quickly lead to the discontinuation of the Sixaxis as more games become rumble-compatible. Sony surprised its console owners by releasing the controller a week in advance in the United States.
If this deal happens to change or show up in any retail stores, we'll keep you up to date with that information.

I got one, I dig it. 55 bucks isn't that bad considerig the cost of a sixaxsis is 50,
so for 5 bucks I rumble and some weight. No problem!
Extremely worth it to have one and Burnout: Paradise is a whole new game. PS3, it's in the box!!!
I got mine threw Amazon when they had them on sale but that price might get another one.
Got all 4 of mines from a gaming stop in Japan....for $45 US (worth of yen lol) a piece......the white one is my favorite!

I'm more worried about getting games right now. If I somehow run across $50, I'll pick one up though.
im set up with 4 of these bad boys, better have have some spare with all the great games coming over the next few months. may need to keep a couple charged and get lots of caffine for the long hours of gta and mgs. i feel sleep wont be in my near future when these games come out....
