Motion Sensing Technology for PS3

Phil Harrison the Vice President of Sony Computer Entertainment Europe has revealed that Sony are investigating the use of motion sensing technology for the PS3. Sony has used the Eye Toy to test out this new area of gaming, which seems to have a huge potential. Based on the Eye Toys huge success, Sony hope to extrapolate eye movement and gesture recognition, more complicated finger movement, and the logical next step of that is to deduce from a person's facial expression and demeanour what their emotional state is," said Mr. Harrison.
