Spider-Man to Blu-ray in October!

Spider-Man fans across the globe will now be swinging in high def. Sony Home Entertainment released information today that ‘Spider-Man 3’ and a ‘Spider-Man High Definition Trilogy’ will be released on October 30th of this calendar year.

The Spider-Man franchise has been touted by Sony in promo discs and even as the lettering on the PlayStation 3. This release announcement ranks up with Harry Potter 1-5 and should be one of the highest grossing Blu-rays for Christmas 2007.

The disc set will feature; Bloopers, Photo Galleries, Commentary and a whole host of featurettes.

    SP3 sucked big time i dont think i would get it as an individual film ill probably end up getting the trilogy just to have the collection on bluray

    Will be getting the Trilogy.  Have Spidey 1 and 2 on dvd, been waiting to get HD copies of these movies with PCM trax.  Special features will be gay thoguh, guaranteed.

    Spiderman 3 was pretty lame, but i liked the others.

    oh please they only put it on 2 blu-ray disk to they and justify the price for a freaking movie <_<: knowing this, i am still going to blindly accept this movie, what can isay blu-ray is just that awsoe :)

    So, this means that other Marvel movies like Fantastic Four is also headed for Blu-Ray? Good, this is defintley going to boost sales! Though, even in Blockbuster, who supports Blu-Ray only got a a cheesy under a foot long shelve with Blu-Ray titles in litlle Denmark.... I only think i've seen around 5 titles in Blu-Ray so far, hope this will change soon!
