Sony hope for 3.65 mill PS3's in Europe by March

At the Leipzig Games Convention 2007, Sony set their standards high for European sales and the rate of sales for the PlayStation 3.
“We want to move the installed base of the PS3 from the present 1.35 million PS3's to five million units by the end of March,” said SCEE President David Reeves. A sale such as this would practically correspond to a net increase of 3.65 million PS3's, definitely quite a feat.
But recently, with all the newest starter packs and bundles ready to be released for Europe, on top of the amazing PVR functions that would make the console the best choice as the center of media entertainment, this feat becomes much more of a practicality.

'08 is PS3's year. The market should expand greatly with services, games, blue rays, Home, more fuctionality, and more accessories that will catch peoples attention. 3million+ is very rational, especially since more people will be entering the HD era.
