Criterion never ceases to amaze and support its loyal following of gamers, as the development team has churned out update after update for Burnout Paradise. Though the first handful of content was given out free of charge, Criterion has stepped their game up by offering premium content for a somewhat affordable price. Their first premium installment came by way of the Party Pack, which finally allowed offline multiplayer functionality.
Now, Criterion has confirmed that Paradise City shall soon include police pursuits in a new mode entitled Cops and Robbers. The content is expected to release shortly after the Toy Cars, Legendary Card, and Boost Specials updates, and should hopefully retail for a tad cheaper than the Party Pack.
Police chases have not been included in a Burnout title since Burnout 2: Point of Impact, so it's a nice retro feature to bring back to the game. It's no secret that the developers have supported their gamers, and now is the opportunity for the gamers to return that love.

Oh man I can't wait. Still IMO nothing can touch NFS II .
Just another reason why this game will never collect dust.

I've put plenty of hours into this game, definate buy.
But I wonder why most of these features weren't included into the game. I wonder was it rushed like motorstorm,(another awesome game), or just a clever tactical move on there behalf. Adding features contiuously has keeped this game on the buyers list for a long time making 1 of the most continuous selling games in the last year. In anycase I can't complain because it is 1 of the best online racers to date.

I did not buy the Party Pack since I don't really play with anyone offline... but I am planning on getting everything else.

After all this company has given away free already their are still those who constantly want something for nothing. Give some people an inch and they take a mile! As long as the price is justified with the content, I don't have a problem paying for DLC I want.

All this extra content is making me concerned about my ability to back it upto disc.
Whether its free or purchased, is it possible to burn and 'keep' all this content backed up and easily restored ?

Looking awesome. The Burnout boys really know their stuff when it comes to community management.
If only every company was like this.
I don't mind paying for a few add-ons though, considering all the extra stuff they've added for free.
@16
Add-ons need to be activated on the PS Store, however if you do a complete backup I'd imagine that it would be fine (providing you use the same PS3 and same profile on that PS3)
