Prototype gets U.S. and European release date

Radical Entertainment has today confirmed that Prototype, the New York-based action adventure game for PS3 and Xbox 360, will be shipped simultaneously on all platforms to retailers on June 5 in Europe and June 9 in North America.
Protoype is said to be a "completely new kind of open-world game," that focuses on the life of the shape-shifting Alex Mercer - a man haunted by his past as he fights a secret war in New York City that threatens to destroy man-kind. The game is said to feature a stunning representation of New York City, alongside parkour gameplay and the ability to shape-shift at will to blend into the crowd.
Thus is the strength of the story line and visual appeal of Prototype and its lead character, Mercer, that it's attracted DC Comics, who plans to publish an all-new comic book series based on the game.

It looks lame to me. Infamous doesnt look as bad. But when was the last time a beat em up game like this didnt get boring after 30 minutes?
