Capcom revealed at E3 this week that it is planning on releasing a playable demo of the PlayStation 3 version of Lost Planet 2 at some point down the line.

The publisher failed to divulge any specific information on the demo, giving no indication as to what we could expect from the playable build or when eager punters can get their mitts on it. An Xbox and PC version demo is also in the pipeline.

Lost Planet 2 was originally confirmed as an Xbox 360/PC only release a few months back, though Capcom formally announced a PS3 version this week during the E3 festivities.

As far as a release date goes, the game is expected to grace Sony’s console in early 2010.

@3 - lol. Maybe they were pushing the "full support for the ps3 platform", and got tricked into promising a demo or something..

now with this game confirmed for PS3 i give Capcom more credit then the other third party companies. there the only company who stayed true to there words and bringing there games to both consoles. but  if they take more then 2 months to bring the game out, then this is where they lose points.

I'm sure the PS3 version will be a mediocre port like the first one was.
