Pricepoint is what I expected. I wish they would have went into more detail about the system itself. Releasing September though! Sooner than I expected. I wonder what the Fat PS3 price drop will be tomorrow? Probably $299 I'm assuming. I wonder what the naysayers have to say now.

Sony fans have been the whipping boy this gen. As of today, that whip now belongs to Sony. Whip em Sony, whip em good. Oh, and I will be inline to pick up my first PS3 on my birthday on Sept 16.

finally the ps3 can start to become the best of the best, plus the ugly 360 news about the 54% failure rate and the price increase to £160 the ps3 will start looking like the only real option to a potential gamer

holy cow this is the beginning of the end for all other systems. thank god i got my PS3 time to put my xbox on EBAY to get another PS3!!!! wow very impressive. kudos SONY KUDOS!!!

@16 - I agree it'll be €299 or £299, we always get ripped off.

Least I've still got my 60GB (upgraded to 120GB) with Backwards Compatibility.
