Minecraft developer, Mojang AB, has won an interim injunction against Bethesda Softworks and their parent company, Zenimax Media, allowing the developer to keep the original name of their game, Scrolls.
The lawsuit was originally filed by Bethesda and ZeniMax over the naming of the title, prompting Mojang to offer to change the name in response. However, ZeniMax refused, pushing on with the lawsuit.
Both Markus Perrson and Jakob Porsor took their excitement to Twitter, stating that they were both pleased with the result, although they admitted the possibility of an appeal by ZeniMax.
Stay tuned.
