Ubisoft has quizzed Assassin’s Creed fans on what location they’d like to see a future instalment in the stealth-based adventure franchise set in.
EmpireStateGamer has captured an image of the market research survey conducted by the publishing giant, which confirms Ubisoft is toying with eight locations for a future title.
"Among the following propositions, in which of the following historical periods and locations would you like one of the next Assassin's Creed games to take place?” it reads.
Ubisoft has already confirmed that a new Assassin’s Creed game will be released in 2012, and recent hints dropped in 2011’s Revelations has indicated next year's entry may be set in Egypt -- which just so happens to be one of the choices outlined below.
-The violent conflicts of the Imperial Dynasties in Medieval China
-The advent of the mighty British Empire during Victorian England
-The culmination of the Pharaoh Reign in Ancient Egypt
-The invasion of the Americas by the Spanish Conquistadors
-The confrontation between British colonists and native Americans during The American Revolution
-The overthrow of the Tsar Empire by the Communists during the Russian Revolution
-The Warlord Battles in Feudal Japan
-The rise of Cesar's Empire in Ancient Rome

Feudal Japan, please, I beg you to make this in Japan. Have a totally new weapon set, a samurai assassin that has incredible sword skill with his Katana. You gotta do it, please Ubisoft.

From the list above I think the British Empire during Victorian England or the British colonists and native Americans during The American Revolution would be really interesting. But I think they could use the american civil war as a time period. Since its a really cool setting and we could get Cowboy Assassins.

They all sound pretty good, but I think the best would be either Egypt, Feudal Japan, or Ancient Rome! I think any of those three would be awesome! :D

Wow!
Japan and Egypt sound like VERY COOL setting for this type of game to transpire. They could really delve into the "secret societies" and their "influences on modern life" activities during the events of those eras.
