Plans to release the original Killzone on PlayStation 3 have apparently been shelved.
Writing on Twitter, developer Guerrilla Games commented: "With regards to KZ1 for PS3, not sure what happened but I've been informed that it's been delayed indefinitely.”
"I have no further info about KZ1 for PS3, save for the fact that it's delayed indefinitely. If I learn anything else, I'll tweet it here,” the firm added.
Killzone was pencilled in for a January 24 release on PlayStation Network in the U.S., which obviously failed to materialise.
The PS3 release was said to be a straight port of the PlayStation 2 original released back in 2004, as opposed to a full HD remaster.

I hate it how they delay games, I really do. I like it how they're adding Killzone 1 to the PS3.
Hopefully trophies, aswell.
Thank You! In reply to Epic_gear "that would be so epic, HD with great graphics equals an amazing game!
Happy Hollidays, Merry Christmas!
