Bethesda posted a video of the upcoming software update 1.5 for Elder Scrolls: Skyrim.
An official date hasn't been announced, but the beta is accessible through Steam for PC users. This update has a plethora of content and bug fixes, and the preview video features a major addition to different Kill Cam animations. Enjoy this Kill Cam montage:
The new features coming in the update include:

-New kill moves and animations for melee weapons
-Shadows on grass available (PC)
-Smithing skill increases now factor in the created item’s value
-Improved visual transition when going underwater
-Improved distance LOD transition for snowy landscapes
And a few of the bug fixes:
-General crash fixes and memory optimizations
-Fixed crash when loading saves that rely on data that is no longer being loaded
-Followers sneak properly when player is sneaking
-Fixed issue where certain NPCs would fail to become Thieves Guild fences
-Fixed issue where letters and notes with random encounters would appear blank
-Fixed rare issue where dialogue and shouts would improperly play
-Fixed rare issue with skills not increasing properly
-Fixed issue with the ebony dagger having a weapon speed that was too slow
-The third level of the Limbsplitter perk now properly improves all battle axes
For a full list of bug fixes, which covers a lot of issues that arise during quests, hop on over to Bethesda's website. This is quite a long list of fixed issues. Have any of our members had issues with Skyrim, or has the experience been too good to worry about them?

Basically a KILL CAM PATCH it was fun seeing my character chop off a head or as a were wolf jump on them and slash them to pieces but it got very boring when it would do that standard reverse spin slash a lot more than decap.

ethesda needs to stop making games if they don't want to finish them. Think about it: What other developer do you know that continuously releases games that 1. Lag so bad it sometimes makes certain areas unplayable (or the entire game after your save file gets past a certain size) and usually ends up freezing; 2. Has infinite loading screens; 3. Has so many bugs that they number in the HUNDREDS; 4. That never fixes DOZENS of the major bugs, and doesn't fix at least 50 of the less major bugs; AND 5. Locks up your system almost every time you play them, forcing a hardboot which wears down the hardware and can eventually break your console? Any company besides Bugthesda that keeps releasing games like this over and over again? Nope, there isn't one. And it's the PS3 players they scam, I mean release games for the most. Wake up people! They are horrible game developers, yet win awards? Who gives out these awards? Certainly not me. They should win awards for having the most bugs in a game ever in the history of video games... They are just using the ideas of a brilliant mind that originally made up the world over a decade ago, with it's history and lore, but they sure as heck don't do it justice, and the love is just no longer there. It's like when a smart and beautiful woman starts doing crack and pretends she's still a great catch. (no offense to people who like the crack ladies) I still think Sony maybe touched Bethesda as children. Skyrim was my last attempt to see if they actually gained talent, but it seems they actually keep losing talent, with each game becoming less stable and more in beta form on release date. All the time telling flat out blatant lies like saying the PS3 version is on par with the 360 version (yet not letting people test the PS3 version pre-release even after asking for it, only giving them another 360 copy) and spreading misinformation, while talking down to their "fan$". They don't ever even FIX their games... EVER, they only fix a few dozen bugs in a few patches over the course of about 5-7 months and then say "Ehh... Who cares? We made our money. On to the next scam. I wonder if we can half-azz the next game we make even more, I wonder how much less content we can get away with putting in it... Hey I know! Let's re-release the same buggy, incomplete game as a GOTY with absolutely NO new content or patching. Let's NOT EVER address any of the hundreds of bugs that have been reported and are on many websites like UESP under almost every quest and side quest at the bottom of the page, all nice and neat for us to fix. Sounds good to me. Me too. Do you like my new house? Well there's no indoor pool but it's alright." It all makes me angry too because I like the world of Nirn and Fallout's alternative Earth, and I love RPGs in general, but I finally made the choice to not support them anymore, even if they end up completing a game in the future, which is a REALLY BIG IF, since they keep making games more buggy and not less.... They IP banned me from their forums and never validate my comments on their blog now because one thing they ARE good at damage control, believe me they spend a lot of money hiring people to downplay problems and shift blame all over the internet, and they hate people that finally get fed up and try to speak the ugly truth about how unmoral and greedy they've become. They have plenty of practice doing these things now... As Betathesda would say, after not acknowledging they screwed us over once again releasing a broken mess of a game, "Thanks for your support." I heard they have an "F" grade from the BBB, yet nothing they are doing is actually illegal (releasing broken products) because of the loopholes, or lack of legislature in laws pertaining to software.
