Leaks from this week’s Weekly Famitsu have unearthed the first concrete details on Soul Sacrifice; the new PlayStation Vita title from former Capcom legend Keiji Inafune.
As reported by Andriasang (via Sinobi), the game is currently in development at Marvelous AQL, with Inafune-san being joined by Yasunori Mitsuda and Wataru Hokoyama on the project.
According to Famitsu, the ‘Sacrifice’ portion of the game’s title refers to the magic you’ll be able to wield. Casting spells requires you to make payment through objects, such as stones and trees. However, for more powerful spells you will need to sacrifice body parts, among which include fingers and eyes.
Soul Sacrifice is supposedly out this winter in Japan, and will feature support for up to four players. Stay tuned to PSU.com for more details as we get them.
