Brutal RPG Dark Souls will be receiving fresh content this winter in the shape of the Artorias of the Abyss expansion.

The DLC will hit PlayStation Network and Xbox Live having previously been included in the PC version of From Software’s critically acclaimed gloomy hack-n’-slash.

It’ll set you back $14.99 on PSN and 1200 Microsoft Points via XBL.

Artorias of the Abyss features new locations to explore, plus of course new bosses and regular foes to battle against (and most probably die as a result). In addition, you can also enjoy fresh weapons, armour and NPCs.

The PC version of Dark Souls is due out on August 24.

This is so awesome. I'll be buying this as soon as it's out.

Too late. I've already sold my copy of the game. Felt let down by the games producers for not bringing out the DLC for consoles at the same time as the PC release. Theres plenty of other quality games out there.

^ Likewise. Good going From Software.

I suppose it is better late than never. I might pick this out of a bargain bin in the future.
