Get every DLC when you pre-order Darksiders II

Pre-order bonuses are nothing new these days, but THQ is offering an especially appealing one for its upcoming action-RPQ sequel Darksiders II.

If you pre-order the game, which launches in August, you'll receive the Darksiders II Season Pass. This nets you the second and third DLC packs, of which details are still unknown, free of charge. In addition, your pre-order will automatically upgrade you to the Darksiders II Limited Edition. The game's first DLC, Argul's Tomb, is free for Limited Edition owners, so you're effectively getting all upcoming DLC simply for pre-ordering through shopTHQ.

To top it all off, an exclusive armor and weapon set is currently being offered for all pre-orders. Remember, this is only valid through THQ's official online store. If you're planning to pick up Darksiders II later this summer, you have no reason not to bask in all these goodies.

Check out our interview with Darksiders II developer Vigil Games and sound off in the comments to let us know what you think of this pre-order incentive.

Seems a nice way to make those that say it should be included already happy and a good way to convince people that are on the fence or may want to buy it used later to buy now. Smart move IMO.

@1 Totally agreed. I hope other retailers/publishers adopt similar incentives for pre-order bonuses moving forward. Wish it would've been in place for Max Payne 3... fantastic game, but I couldn't justify an extra $30 for the Rockstar Pass

AN extra $30. Here in New Zealand that same Rockstar pass cost $70. Insane, but this is a cool move by THQ.

Let us all keep in mind that Ubi soft never said that this was a current gen title. It seems to be very far off and there has to be a good reason that they haven't even said what platform it is going to be on yet. My money's on ps4.

@1 - That's not true at all. Why have they already planned 3 DLCs for an unreleased game? This doesn't make me happy at all, as now I have to pre-order them game to get free DLC. Essentially, those that pre-order it are getting everything that should be included whilst those that don't are being charged for things that could have been put on the disc. I'm not disagreeing with this pre-order incentive at all, it's a good idea, but to already have 3 DLCs planned pre-launch, and to say this should please those that think it should all be included on the disc, is wrong.
