[UPDATE] Metal Gear Rising release date leaked?

UPDATE: Konami has responded to our request for clarification, saying, "We have not announced an official release date for Rising."
ORIGINAL STORY: A knowledgeable source close to PSU has leaked to us the release date of the highly-anticipated next installment in the Metal Gear saga, Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance.
The game will apparently come to PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on February 2, 2013. Until now, only a release window of Early 2013 was known. While our source wishes to remain anonymous, their position in the industry lends credence to this information.
PSU has reached out to Konami for confirmation. We will update this post when a response is received; until then, file this one under "Rumor."
