Superbot Entertainment has confirmed that a public beta phase for PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale will kick off this Fall.

In a statement on the official U.S. PlayStation blog, President of SuperBot, Chan Park, revealed the news.

“We’re beginning to test our servers and connectivity issues and this is just the beginning as we work toward rolling out a public beta to the entire PlayStation nation this Fall,” he writes.

Chan also spoke about the leaked content that came from the private beta phase that has recently taken place, telling gamers that it doesn’t represent the final product.

PlayStation Plus members will get initial access to the beta and codes will be dished out over the coming weeks.

“While just a small group now, in the coming weeks we will continue to send out batches of codes as we gradually expand the beta; so keep your eyes open. You just might receive an invitation to join! Keep checking back with the blog for more information around the public beta, starting with early access to PlayStation Plus members,” writes Chan.

PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale is due for release on October 23, 2012 on PlayStation 3 and PS Vita.
