Insomniac Games has released a new trailer for Marvel’s Wolverine looking at a number of key features for the PS5 superhero adventure, accompanied by a voiceover from Liam McIntyre, who portrays the titular mutant.
The trailer highlights various key areas of the game such as the blood-drenched combat, which pulls no punches when it comes to spilling blood all over the place as Wolverine slices through his foes, as well as the story side of things, plus unlockable costumes and claws. We’re also given a look at the New Game Plus mode, which is being included from day one. Check it out below.
Marvel’s Wolverine is slated for release on September 15, 2026. Insomniac Games confirmed earlier this month that the game went gold, meaning production is now complete and locked for launch day. Mike Daly, who serves as game director for Marvel’s Wolverine, stated during a recent interview that the team took inspiration from X-Men Origins: Wolverine, which is considered by many to be the best Wolverine video game to date.
